The location of my "Where in The World"

Parks, resorts, dining, attractions, vacations

Ed
I guess y'all lost interest. The counter is located in the movie box
office on Sunset Blvd. at the southern end of The Planet Hollywood
Superstore.

I knew that ;-)

So, do you guys want another? I think it's just as challenging!

Steve
Absolutely. I need the humbling...

I was thinking that, too. I even looked all around The Web trying to find
evidence of that, but could not.

Ok - none of the guesses are correct yet.

Someone asked if the "Prop Shop" is still there. Yes it is, but this
isn't in it. However, I wouldn't be surprised if the item pictured
didn't live in that prop shop at one time. This item is visible for all
regular park guests to see if they stand at the right angle.

Let's see... It's on a street that's hundreds of miles out of place,
and is actually part of a subtle advertisement.

No, I'm sorry. The street in question ends in a roundabout behind which
other cars run wild.

The window in which this object appears fronts a shop that's truly unreal.

Right park - Wrong shop - "Streets of America" contains two streets,
right?

area. I give!

is
bs
that

It's in the window of the faux "Travel Agent" on new York Street, which
is actually a big advertisement for the DVC.

Rudeney
Ah, I guess I've never looked that closely in there. BTW, is New York Street
still there? I thought it was renamed Streets of America? I know there is a
cross-street, but I didn't really think it had a name - it was just part of SoA.

According to the WDW web site "Streets of America" includes New York Street
and San Francisco Street. Two different -streets of America- get it? :)

Rudeney
I guess that makes sense. I know there used to be just one named as "New Yok
Street", then they added the San Francisco backdrop so I guess they cal each
its own street name.

Anyhow, that was an especially challenging photo! It's a great example of how
the Imagineers keep up with the smallest of details. I mean, how hard do you
have to look (or zoom in) to see that detail?

To be honest with you, I had to stand on my tippy-toes and then shoot
downwards. I wasn't that surprised that nobody got it. I'd love to keep
posting these things, but there doesn't seem to be too much interest except
for you. Not that there's anything wrong with that....

I've been paying attention and trying to figure them out - they're just a
little harder than my ability. I actually was looking for sneaky things to
photograph on the last trip, but didn't come up with any prizewinner
stump-the-chumps pictures.

suggest a new thread for each.
